As a member of the club you may use the clubrooms whenever they are open and you may bring a guest so long as you accompany them.
The upstairs bar is generally open:
Tuesday and Thursday afternoon between 2.30pm until 4.30pm,
Saturday and Sunday 11am until 6pm, Hours may vary depending on demand.
As a member you may also hire the clubrooms for functions and you can enjoy discounted members rates.

Do I have to fill out the entire Autoscore card?

Yes. You must ensure all the red circles are marked and your score is recorded clearly under players score. It is best to get into the habit of swapping cards with your partner as in a competition you must swap cards. You and your marker must sign the back of the card as correct after a game.

I am new to the club and I do not know anyone or I have no four to play with?

You need not have four people to play golf. Do not worry about not having a four or not knowing anyone, simply make yourself known to Sam and Dan in the Pro shop and they will put you with a four and ensure you are introduced to the others in your four. I am sure that in no time at all you will know many other members. You may consider the Thursday Club they meet every Thursday at 10am and will gladly put you in a four. A great day out.

My handicap is not good enough and I have not played enough golf to play with other members?

Members at some stage had to learn how to play golf. Also there are far more members in the club on handicaps 20+ than you may think. Most members are more than happy to assist new golfers learn and do not mind playing with higher handicappers, ask at the pro shop they will know which members are happy to join you to play. I know that within a few games your handicap will drop.
A handy tip is to see Sam or Dan in the pro shop and ask about some lessons.

How do I find a partner for mixed tournaments?

This is a question we often get asked by both men and women.
If you would like to play in a mixed tournament but have no partner or you do not know many people at the club then simply let the Pro Shop know or leave your name with the office and we will try to find you a partner. Another option is to let the ladies Captain know you want a playing partner and she will arrange to have this announced at the ladies briefing before they play on Saturday or Wednesday.

How long can I look for a lost ball?

Players searching for a ball should signal the players behind them to pass as soon as it becomes apparent that the ball will not easily found. They should not search for five minutes before doing so. They should not continue play until the players following them have passed and are out of range.
